Graduates are trained by industry experts to perform maintenance jobs such as weatherization, plumbing and electrical work. They are also educated on energy efficiency to reduce utility bills. 2012 graduates will be ready for work this Spring.

Windsor Essex Community Housing teamed up with The Now House Project to bring sustainable energy retrofits to five Windsor houses. Retrofits include air sealing and insulation, solar photovoltaic panels, basement insulation, tankless water heaters and much more. 2011-12 Federal ecoEnergy Retrofit Program

The Federal Government has renewed the ecoEnergy Retrofit – Homes Program till March 31, 2012.

Grants are available for housing providers with low-rise residential properties that include single detached, row housing, duplexes, triplexes as well as most low-rise multi-unit residential buildings of three stories or less.
